ACES in Places: Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie
The College of ACES Alumni Association and District Director, Bill Francis hosted an ACES alumni event at the Midewin Tallgrass Prairie. Over 30 ACES Alumni and Friends joined a driving tour of Midewin to learn about the history of the area, toured the bunkers and prairie restoration areas. Dinner and a program followed at Hayden's Resteraunt in Wilmington. Jeff Brawn, the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES) Department Head, shared updates from the college and department. Stacey Cole, Assistant Director of Advancement, shared updates on the Brilliant Futures campaign.
