International Sheth Alumni Award
Dr. Bo Zhang received his Masters and PH.D. for the College of ACES and Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering. He was recognized on campus April 16. Many friends, colleagues and guests traveled from across the U.S. and China to celebrate Dr. Zhang's accomplishments.
Rachel Garai, a graduate student and a graduate from the Department of Animal Science was recognized as the International Graduate Achievement Award Recipeint. Since 2005, Rachel has taken over 80 students to South Africa, from the Universities of Illinois, Minnesota, and Dublin, Ireland. Currently for the summer of 2009, Rachel is organizing 3 undergraduate study tours, as well as 2 veterinary elective credit summer programs offered to students from all 28 US Veterinary Colleges.
